This is the travelblog of Cyril Ducau and Niccolo Manno on their adventure from London (Cyril), Munich (Niccolo) to Hong Kong on motorbikes.
It took us short of 3 months to do 20,000km on bikes, trains and planes. We crossed the following countries together:

Austria - Italy - Slovenia - Croatia - Serbia - Bulgaria - Turkey - Georgia - Azerbaijan - Turkmenistan - Uzbekistan - Kyrgyzstan - Kazakhstan - Russia - Mongolia - China - Hong Kong

On this site you will find some info on both of us, our bikes, some of our friendly helpers in Hong Kong and London and loads of pictures on our trip.

D-1 for Niccolo

Today is D-1 for me. Cyril must be on his way down to Austria as we speak. He was in FFM yesterday night. Poor guy, he had to drive in some horrendous storm in Europe. I hope the weather will be nicer in the next days.
I have some pictures from my bike at the BMW dealer, the bike whilst being prepared for the trip and the stuff that I will need to take with me. There is a LOT of stuff, but don't worry, some is for Cyril as well. By the way, I had a short hair cut...should last me a while and I like the beard! Today I resigned. I feel ready to go now.

Well men always look like they have more street cred with less hair, so now hopefully the bandits will only come at night. You better get Cyril to shave it all off too, or else he'll just be a liability. I think however to really tell them who's boss, you need to take the bike to the right instead of the one above. Do you need me to define "street-cred" for you now? Peace out... and remember to throw the deuce when you pass local cops in kazakhstan.

Agree - Cyril, you need to get a bandit haircut to go with your beard
